25 years ago the world's greatest hero vanished.

Thirteen year old Sam Cleary suspects that his mysteriously reclusive neighbor Mr. Smith is actually the legendary vigilante Samaritan, who was reported dead 25 years ago. With crime on the rise and the city on the brink of chaos, Sam makes it his mission to coax his neighbor out of hiding to save the city from ruin.

سام كليري (جايفون "وانا" والتون) يشكّ في أنّ جاره السيّد سميث (سيلفستر ستالون) المنطوي على نفسه بشكل غامض ما هو إلا الشخصية الأسطوريّة "ساماريتان" أي "الصالح" الساعي دوماً لتحقيق العدالة، وقد أبلغ عن وفاته منذ خمسة وعشرين عاماً. لكن مع تزايد الجرائم وكون المدينة على شفير الوقوع في الفوضى التامة، أخذ"سام" على عاتقه مهمّة إقناع جاره بأن يخرج من عزلته لإنقاذ المدينة من الهلاك.
