After a 4 a.m. knock at the door and haunting voices, Kristen McKay and James Hoyt’s remote getaway becomes a psychological night of terror as three masked strangers invade. Now they must go far beyond what they thought themselves capable of if they hope to survive.
يذهب الحبيبان (كريستين) و(جيمس) لحفل زفاف أحد أصدقائهما، ويقرران بعدها قضاء بعض الوقت في الكوخ الذي يملكه والد جيمس. يخرج جيمس بعد وصولهما لشراء علبة سجائر، ويترك كريستين بمفردها في الكوخ، وهنا تبدأ الأحداث في التصاعد بشدة. تكتشف كريستين أن ثلاثة أشخاص يرتدون أقنعة غريبة يحاولون اقتحام الكوخ، فتشعر بالهلع والرعب. مع عودة جيمس إلى الكوخ يحاول تهدئة كريستين، ويحاول إقناعها أن الأمر لا يتعدى مزحة من بعض المراهقين، بينما هو لا يدرك الخطر الرهيب الذي يهدد حياتهما.
