Show what you’re listening to on Discord

Your Discord profile shows “Listening to Culterix” with the song, artist, cover and a progress bar while you play music here. You set it up once and never touch it again.

Set up (Windows, about a minute)

Download the installer: Download installer
Open it. Windows may say it protects your PC because the file is new: press More info, then Run anyway. It installs a tiny background helper (it also installs Node.js for you if you don’t have it) and opens Culterix.
Keep the Discord app open, play a song on Culterix, and look at your Discord profile.

Mac and Linux: run node culterix-discord.js from this file with Node.js installed, then open culterix.com/?discord=on once.

Turning it on and off happens in Discord

In Discord open Settings → Activity Privacy and use Share my activity. Switch it off and nothing shows; switch it on and it comes back. You can also hide it from a single server there.

To remove the helper completely, download and run the uninstaller.

Good to know

Only on a computer with the Discord desktop app. It can’t work on phones or in the web version of Discord.
Why an installer? Discord only lets apps you run on your own computer set this kind of status. Spotify has a special built-in link with Discord that other apps can’t get, so a small helper is the only way for Culterix.
Privacy: the song details go only from your browser to the helper on your own computer, which passes them to Discord. Nothing is sent to Culterix. See the Privacy Policy.
Brave or another privacy browser? If it asks whether Culterix may connect to devices on your computer or local network, choose Allow. This is how the site reaches the helper.
Not showing? Check that the Discord app is open and Share my activity is on, then reload Culterix and play a song.
